Thanks to FarShores visitor John M. Fallas who adds his own sighting of a Black Cat seen in the Malvern Hills area. He almost literally ran across it yesterday! Read on...

"At approximately 3.30 am on the 3rd. November '01, I was returning home by car to Colwall, Malvern, via Evendine Lane, near Caves Folly nursery, when I passed a passing space [wide section of road G-fs] with a moving object in it.

"As my headlights illuminated the off-road area I immediately could see a large (3 ft. body length) black feline animal rapidly trying to evade the light.

"This is the second time I've seen it now. The first was on Harcourt Lane leading from West Malvern down to Mathon, again at night about a year ago."

Adds John: "I'm familiar with jaguars from Bolivia and it was bigger than them."
