RESEARCH ASSISTANCE - DONATIONS AND 2001 SUMMARY REPORT
As you know, we are now in the middle of the 'circle
season' here in
Canada, primarily August and September each year.
With this, and especially this year with the
'Signs'-related increase in
public interest, both the web site traffic and CCCRN
News subscriber list
have seen significant increases in recent weeks and
months.
I had just finished upgrading the web site a few weeks
ago to hopefully
prevent a shutdown from the expected increase in
traffice resulting from
'Signs'. Unfortunately, the upgrade wasn't sufficient
to handle the even
more than expected increase (!), resulting in the web
site being shutdown
for about half a month, an inconvenience not only to
the viewing public,
but also to myself, in wanting to keep people as up to
date as possible on
current crop circle events in Canada.
While both the web site and e-news service have always
been free (and will
continue to be), and CCCRN itself is non-profit and
volunteer based, it is
becoming necessary to cover increasing costs, which
includes web site
hosting, internet / phone charges, travel to the
prairies (as I actually
live in Vancouver, a good third of the way across the
country from where
most of the 'action' is), etc. The web site will be
upgraded further, with
regular domain name, increased storage space, etc., but
support is needed,
and for that online resource to continue without
further interruptions. The
CCCRN web site has the only online archive of Canadian
formations, now over
200 known reports going back to 1941.
Donations:
Donations help the research work to continue, making
the lastest Canadian
information available, exclusively from CCCRN. Any
amount is appreciated,
and can be made by cheque or money order or online with
PayPal. They can
also be sent to respective CCCRN provincial branches to
assist with local
research expenses:

For those who have already contributed recently, thank
you!

Please do not send payments by PayPal at this time

properly (the PayPal

however):

Again, to those who have already purchased copies,
thank you!
Thank you for your continued support, and please note

an often-repeated request!
