Gohan is the son of Goku and has mysteriously strong powers. He is much stronger than his dad at his age and Piccolo tries to awaken this power by training Gohan before the Saiyans come. Each major fight you see a little bit of this hidden power but you don't really see what Gohan is capable of until his fight with Cell. This is where Gohan goes Super Saiyan II. Gohan is a kind boy who is very intelligent. Chi Chi continuesly hounds him to study cause her dream is for him to become a scholar and not a fighter. She really shouldn't be talking, especially since when Chi Chi was little she ran around half naked fighting everything that got in her way. Gohan does become a scholar eventually and settles down with Videl and has a daughter named Pan.
