Goku is the main character of the series and is really the heart of Dragon Ball Z. Though I am not a big fan of Goku, Goku is an important character and without him the entire universe would have been destroyed. Goku is like that glue that holds everybody together and without him and his kindness many villins, like Piccolo, Vegeta, even YAMCHUA! would have never become good. Though Goku is pretty absent minded and oblivious to most things when it comes down to fighting Goku is a complete genius.
