Vegeta is the prince of all saiyans! Because of this his pride is extremely large and cannot cope with the fact that Goku, a lower class saiyan, could possibly be stronger. At a young age Vegeta was taken away from his planet and forced to work with Freeza along with two other saiyans, Nappa and Radditz. Vegeta is my favorite character because he has the most passion to him. He changes from evil, to good, to evil, and then back to good. He is proud and allows his honor to get in the way. However, even being the proud prince he falls for Bulma and has a child with her. Though not showing that he cares, you see throughout the series that he does care about his family. You truely see that this cold prince is capable of loving during his fight with Majiin Buu as he finally does one selfless act and took control of his destiny and in a brilliant blast the proud prince killed himself. It is here that realize that the prince can care for something besides his honor and that even the darkest devil can still have angelic qualities.
