Quatre is extremely kind for a Gundam pilot. He is the only son of a wealthy family of space colony builders, with 29 older sisters and a strick pacifist father who disapproves of his going into combat. Even though Quatre feels that killing people and much blood shed is bad, he continues to fight to protect loved ones.
While Quatre doesn't have the yearning for battle of his fellow Gundam pilots, he does have excellent family connections, unlimited cash, and a troop of forty loyal underlings (Maganac Corps) at his disposal. His tender heart and kindness wins over the trust of Trowa Barton. During the part in space where Quatre has gone pretty crazy from Wing Zero he ends up fighting Trowa and Heero because Wing Zero makes them appear to be his enemies. In the end, he ends up killing Trowa and taking Heero back to earth.
