Who is Wiggins you might be wondering? If you don't know who he is, you must see the movie again! Wiggins is Governor Ratcliffe's personal assistant, or his butler. I'm not sure what Wiggins' actual profession is, but he is integral! Well...maybe not integral then at least very important to the comic relief in this movie. I adore Wiggins and hopefully you do to! (Why would you be here if you didn't like Wiggins? *awkward pause* Oh...you thought it was a Pocahontas site...oh...I see...)
Wiggins (sadly at Ratcliffe's departure in chains): And he came so highly recommended...(sighs)
Wiggins (staggering into Ratcliffe's tent with an arrow through the head): Sir! I...I...(brightly)I made it myself!
Wiggins (to Percy having a bath): Come on now, Percy! We have to be all squeaky clean for the New World!
Ratcliffe: Why else would the Indians attack?
1. He is a sidekick; therefore he has none to make trouble.
Wiggins (enthusiasticaly): I like gruel!
Wiggins: Because we invaded their land, cut down their trees and dug up their earth?
2. He sings but keeps it to a minimum. He doesn’t make us sit through two solos.
3. Little swirls of colored leaves are not constantly swirling around him.
4. He doesn’t make friends with the enemy.
5. He doesn’t fall in love.
6. He doesn’t risk his life to save a guy he barely knows.
7. He is loyal, faithful and obedient, unlike Pocahontas.
8. He doesn’t lie.
9. He doesn’t ask friends to lie for him.
10. Unlike Pocahontas, he plays it safe. You won’t catch him white water canoeing.
11. He creates interesting hedge designs.
12. He doesn’t get anyone killed.
13. He doesn’t jump off of cliffs.
